Regarding Information Security Policy

A. Information Collection

  • The company collects information directly from customer volunteers and various sources through transparent and legal means.
  • Customer information collected by the company is based on the customer relationship, including name, gender, date of birth, occupation, identity-related information (such as ID card, citizen ID, passport, or other photo identification documents), contact information, information about the use of the company’s products and services, customer interests, demographics, and other information provided by the customer.
  • We only collect information that is required or relevant to providing products and services, for business purposes, and to better understand customer needs in order to assist them in making informed choices about desired products and services.
  • For online customers, the company may collect information such as IP address, the type of operating system the customer is using, the date and time of customer access to the updated website, internet access location, and the pages within the company’s site that the customer accessed for the purpose of tracking website usage to improve the customer experience. B. Use of Personal Information

  • The company only uses or discloses customer personal information for the purposes of collection, or for other purposes to which the customer agrees, or as required by law.
  • In some cases, as required by law, customer personal information may be provided to individuals, organizations, service providers, and PARAGON employees in legal jurisdictions different from where the information was collected. This is for reasons other than the place of information collection and is required to be enforced by the law of that jurisdiction. The company will not share customer personal information with any organizations outside our corporate group for the purpose of marketing products or services without customer consent.
  • In some cases, within the framework of the law, we may share customer information within the internal group of PARAGON companies to provide customers with preferential information about other products and services. Customers have the right to opt out of receiving the aforementioned promotional information.
  • The company may need to analyze customer information to keep up with customer needs and the types of products, services, and discount programs that customers may be interested in.
  • The company will keep customer personal information until it is no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes of collection or as required by law. The company focuses on ensuring that customer personal information records are always accurate and continuously updated, a necessary task to achieve the purposes of information use.

C. Protection Methods

  • The company will protect customer personal information with security measures appropriate to the importance of the information, preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or unlawful application of information. The company is responsible for customer personal information that is owned by the company, including information transferred to service providers currently performing tasks on our behalf.
  • When sharing personal information with service providers, they are responsible for protecting the information with measures appropriate to practices and the company’s security policy.

D. Security Commitment

  • The company commits to managing personal information under careful control. The company has a team of staff responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company’s Security Principles. The company will ensure that information on the security policy and the management of the company’s personal information is easily accessible to customers who have registered access to the Paragon information system.
  • Based on written requests from customers, the company will provide customers with reasonable access to their personal information and a description of the use or disclosure of information, as required or as permitted by law. Customers may also verify the accuracy and completeness of the information and request corrections or deletions, as appropriate or as permitted by law.

E. Mechanism for Receiving and Resolving Complaints from Consumers Regarding the Misuse of Personal Information

  • We commit to ensuring the safety of our customers’ personal information, absolutely refraining from buying, selling, or exchanging customer information with third parties for commercial purposes. In the event that the server storing information is hacked, leading to the loss of customer personal data, we will promptly notify the incident to the relevant investigative authorities and inform the affected customers.
  • If customers discover that their personal information is misused or exceeds the scope of the declared purpose, they can send a complaint email to Support@paragon.com.vn or call 09144 09142 to complain and provide relevant evidence of the incident. We commit to responding immediately or, at the latest, within 3 working days (excluding Sundays) from the time of receiving the complaint.
